This app provides a one-click overview of all your summary tasks, tasks and milestones and visualizes the progress of each task with the 0-50-100 method. The first outline level of tasks is arranged horizontally, and all other levels are arranged below.
TPG MTA Chart is a Milestone Trend Analysis for Microsoft Project Server and SharePoint. It visualizes milestone trends and displays how schedules are evolving over time.
As per reporting periods, snapshots of projects are taken to show graphically how their milestones have shifted. This chart provides an overview of the current and past schedules at a glance. Trends for the future can be identified and appropriate actions started proactively to keep projects on track.
Project managers plan milestones to show key deliverables and important dates in their projects. TPG MTA Chart is used to show the history of the milestone schedules over the reporting periods. To achieve this, one-click snapshots of the current milestone schedule are taken.

TPG Risk Chart enhances your project risk management process by visualizing your project risks at a glance.
Based on the risk list provided within SharePoint Project Sites, counts of active risks are displayed by impact across probability in a colored 5x5 matrix. The risk chart facilitates the communication within the project team and is a powerful tool for explaining the risk situation to your project sponsors or steering committee.
The graphical presentation supports project managers in setting priorities and developing effective risk response strategies. TPG Risk Chart integrates into Project Center, Project Detail Pages and into Project Sites.
If TPG WBS Chart is displayed in Project Center or the Site Content, a project has to be selected first by clicking the arrow left of the heading “Show the project list and select a project”. If TPG WBS Chart is displayed on a Project Site or on a Project Detail Page there is no project list for selection, because the project has been selected already.
To select a project from the project list click into any column. Click on the hyperlink in the name column to navigate to the associated Project Site in SharePoint.
The selected project is displayed in total. Use the buttons on the right side to zoom in and out and to move the chart in all directions. Use the mouse wheel while pressing “CTRL” to zoom. Drag the chart with the mouse while a hand is displayed on the button or click the hand to switch to zoom selection mode which zooms the selected area. Click “Show All” to display the whole chart.
The nodes display one diagonal if their progress is more than 50% complete and a second diagonal if they are 100% complete. Summary tasks display their name, the start and finish date. Tasks additionally display the assigned resources, and milestones display the scheduled date and the baseline date.
Optionally, custom enterprise fields can be created to display colors of tasks, summary tasks and the project. Create a lookup table in Project Server Settings with the values red, yellow and green. Assign the lookup table to a project text field with the name WBSColorProject and to a task text field with the name WBSColorTask.
Use the “Refresh” Button to update data of the WBS chart.
To get the milestone trend of a project, according to the report process, snapshots have to be taken from the current schedule.

If TPG MTA Chart is displayed on a Project Site or on a Project Detail Page, there is no project list for selection, because the project has been selected already.

The project list displays a camera icon in the first column to indicate if snapshots have already been taken for this project.
These snapshots are always taken using the current date by clicking on the camera icon on the right. Thus, milestones and their dates are saved in new lists within the associated Project Site in SharePoint. The lists are created automatically when the first snapshot is taken.
The milestone colors are applied according to the colors in the dropdown list under “MTA Milestones”. Colors of milestones can be changed for each project and milestone if necessary. New colors in the dropdown list can be added at the end via list settings.
Notes of milestones are also saved in this list and displayed in tooltips at the legend.
If historic data needs to be restored, edit the schedule appropriate to the changes in the past, take snapshots and edit the snapshot date in the MTA Snapshots list on the associated SharePoint Site. Milestone dates could also be edited directly in the MTA SnapshotData list if snapshots have been taken before.
When TPG Risk Chart is displayed in Project Center or the Site Content, a project has to be selected first by clicking the arrow left to the heading "Show the project list and select a project". If TPG Risk Chart is displayed on a Project Site, there is no project list for selection but data of the current project is provided.
The Matrix shows the number of active risks in each cell. Risks with a status other than "(1) Active" are not counted. On mouse hover over the numbers, risk names are shown in a tooltip.
The cell of the average project risk values is highlighted with a grey frame.
By clicking the cells corresponding risks are loaded in the table on the right side. Selecting a risk title in the table opens a detailed view of the risk in a new browser window with the possibility to edit the data.
Use the “Refresh” Button to update data from the risk list.
