Project Online is based on SharePoint Online, and Microsoft has announced that SharePoint workflows will be retired in April 2026. After that, workflows can only be created using Power Automate. Since TPG ProjectPowerPack is built on the Power Platform, nearly all project-related data—such as projects, portfolios, programs, and resources—can be copied or imported manually from Excel. Lists can typically be imported directly, and MPP files (Microsoft Project) can also be imported.
Partially. Active Directory (AD) and Azure Active Directory (AAD) typically don’t include all the data required for a complete resource pool. However, basic data—such as start and end dates or employment levels—can be retrieved from AD, AAD, or other HR applications using our TPG PSLink integration solution.
Yes, this is possible through a custom solution. You’ll need to define which data from Outlook calendars—often maintained very differently by each employee—can be structured and transferred into the TPG ProjectPowerPack base calendar.
