Worldwide Microsoft EPM customer community

Decision makers’ network for Enterprise Project Management

Are you heading up or planning an EPM project for your company? Or are you a decision maker researching information on enterprise-wide project management based on Microsoft Project Server? If so, you’ll certainly benefit from free membership of this global network and from the experience and expertise of like-minded specialists. The Microsoft Project EPM Customer Community comprises more than 350 decision makers from around the world.

Presentations and information sharing about real-life projects

The group’s members come from a range of different industries and meet once a quarter for a webcast-based round table discussion.  Each meeting focuses on the presentation of a project by one of the members. This includes a description of challenges faced and solutions found during implementation followed by an open discussion among members, delivering significant insight into which strategies are proven to work. The presentations are recorded and can be downloaded by members after the event.

Discussions with like-minded specialists – and without vendors

But the EPM Customer Community isn’t only about presentations. As a global network of project management specialists, it offers participants a way to interact with each other, even outside of the scheduled meetings. Members can contact each other any time to discuss and get feedback on their own ideas or challenges. They can also post questions in an online forum for other members to respond to. Microsoft partners, such as TPG The Project Group, have no access to this forum or any other part of the EPM Customer Community, so customers can discuss issues among themselves without the presence of vendors.

Don’t forget: in contrast to the EPM Customer Community, where the focus is on Microsoft Project Server based solutions, there is also a Microsoft Project User Group (MPUG). This provides a range of information on Microsoft Project Standard/Professional Client and is open to a broader audience.
