17 November 2009: TPG VersionChecker Verifies Update Versions in Microsoft Project Server Environments
Useful tool prevents incompatibilities from crashing Microsoft Project and helps ensure user acceptance

TPG The Project Group today announced a new tool that prevents a common cause of Microsoft Project program crashes. The TPG VersionChecker automatically verifies whether the update status of Microsoft Project Professional client is compatible with that of the Project Server. This saves time for administrators as they can eliminate this issue as the source of a crash. The tool also prevents the presence in the system of data that has become corrupt due to incompatibilities. The TPG VersionChecker is available now from TPG and can be installed remotely by TPG in less than a day.

8 September 2009: First-Time Live Demo of Integration between Microsoft Project 2010 and SAP
This and other TPG products to be presented at Microsoft Project Conference 2009 in Phoenix, AZ

TPG The Project Group, a full-service provider of enterprise-wide project management (EPM) based on Microsoft Project Server, will be giving the first live demo of its integration of Microsoft EPM 2010 with SAP at this year’s Microsoft Project Conference in Phoenix, AZ. The demonstration, which uses TPG PSLink, is being organized in conjunction with Siemens IT Solutions and Services and is based on a real-life application scenario for Siemens Energy. It will be shown during a conference presentation on Wednesday September 16 from 2:30pm to 3:45pm.

TPG PSLink is the world’s leading – and sole SAP-certified – integration product. Together with a range of additional TPG products, TPG PSLink has already been ported to Project 2010 at an exceptionally early stage. This was done within the framework of the Microsoft Technical Adoption Program (TAP). TPG, the Platinum Sponsor of the Project Conference, also announced today that it will have finished porting its entire portfolio of products by the middle of 2010, in good time for the launch of the new version of Microsoft Project.

25 August 2009: TPG The Project Group expands partner network in Asia
Systemethod to sell TPG products in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia

TPG The Project Group, a full-service provider of enterprise-wide project management (EPM) based on Microsoft Project Server and Sharepoint solutions, announced today that it has signed up Systemethod Pte. Ltd. as a new authorized partner in Asia. Systemethod, which is also a Microsoft Project Partner, is now selling and implementing TPG products in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia. These products extend the functionality of Microsoft Project Server solutions. Systemethod is putting a special focus on the TPG PSLink product that integrates Microsoft EPM with SAP.

21 July 2009: TPG Offers Free Stability and Performance Check for Microsoft Project Servers until 31 October 2009
TPG The Project Group’s remote analysis comes with summary and recommendations

TPG The Project Group, a full-service provider of enterprise-wide project management (EPM) based on Microsoft Project Server, announced today that it is offering its TPG SystemHealthCheck until 31 October 2009 free of charge. As a special initiative, administrators can book a free evaluation of their Microsoft Project Server systems and the associated SharePoint environment. The analysis is conducted remotely by a TPG specialist working with the system administrator. As a result of the two-hour analysis, the administrator receives a two-page overview summarizing the current status of his or her Microsoft EPM system. The report, complete with recommendations, helps administrators to identify any critical areas and decide whether to make changes to ensure the system’s stability and performance. The free TPG SystemHealthCheck is available worldwide to all companies running Microsoft EPM solutions.

7 July 2009: TPG The Project Group to expand global partner network at Microsoft Project Conference 2009
World’s top event for Microsoft Project takes place 14-17 September 2009 in Phoenix, AZ

TPG The Project Group, a full-service provider of enterprise-wide project management (EPM) based on Microsoft Project Server, announced today that it will be participating in the Microsoft Project Conference as a Platinum Sponsor. At the event, TPG is looking to meet potential partners with a high level of EPM expertise to expand its international partner network. The conference, now in its fifth year, remains the most important in the EPM area and is being held in Phoenix, AZ, from 14 to 17 September 2009. It is a forum for Microsoft-based EPM that brings together experts and interested parties from around the world. At this year’s event, participants are particularly looking forward to a preview of Microsoft Project 2010, the upcoming new version of the EPM platform.

27 May 2009: SAP certifies TPG PSLink
TPG PSLink for integrating Microsoft Project with SAP receives a SAP Certification

TPG The Project Group announced today that its product TPG PSLink has passed the comprehensive tests for “Third Party Integration Scenarios” to achieve a SAP Certification. Now TPG PSLink is the only SAP-certified product enabling the bidirectional integration of Microsoft Enterprise Project Management (EPM) with SAP. As the flagship in TPG’s product portfolio, it ensures seamless data interchange between SAP and Microsoft EPM. The SAP Custom Certification Scenario included seven key project management use cases and was based on extremely sophisticated tests that went far beyond standard SAP certification requirements.

21 April 2009: TPG Launches TPG ProjectProperties for Easier Administration of Microsoft Project Master Data
Clear, convenient data management saves project managers’ time

TPG The Project Group, a full-service provider of enterprise-wide project management, today announced the launch of TPG ProjectProperties, its newest product for Microsoft Project. It makes project managers’ jobs easier by bringing more clarity and convenience to the management of key master data. As standard, the “Project Information” dialog in Microsoft Project only displays this information as a static alphabetical list. TPG ProjectProperties expands on this list by collating and structuring all important project information in a single dialog box, making it much easier to work with. It is the first product of its kind on the market.

09 March 2009: TPG Unveils New Product for Microsoft Project to Facilitate Resource Management
TPG The Project Group launches TPG TeamLink for graphical resource optimization between project and line managers

TPG The Project Group, a full-service provider of enterprise-wide project management, today announced TPG TeamLink, its new product for Microsoft Project. TPG TeamLink enables project and department managers to quickly and easily coordinate the use of resources in projects. The new product generates a graphic that shows a comparison of the project and line managers’ plans and the current status of resource coordination between the two. The graphic may be a series of colored fields, figures, or both. This makes it much easier for project and department managers to flexibly adapt their own planning in Microsoft Project and within the agreed resource commitments. The product’s principal benefits are faster communication between line and project managers; and increased transparency regarding the current status of plans. This enables both parties to react faster to project changes.

 

13. February 2009: TPG showcases multi-project management with Microsoft Project and SAP integration on CeBIT 2009 in Hannover, Germany
