SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) Developer

TPG The Project Group America is located in Jamison, Bucks County, PA. Remote working environment acceptable.

Responsibilities include:

Converting business requirements to system design
Developing complex code (SQL and XML style) to meet the system design requirements
Installing and configuring proprietary software components on Servers
Optimizing and administrating current queries
Working in an environment with 70% development and 30% production support
Writing stored procedures, table alterations, functions, views, selects, inner and outer joins, DTS and SSIS packages

Requirements include:

A minimum of two years experience as an MS SQL programmer in a fast paced dynamic environment using a structured software development methodology
Extensive T-SQL experience writing complex queries, views, stored procedures
Knowledge of security and privacy issues
Working knowledge of SQL 2000, 2005 or 2008
XML experience
A BS in computer Science preferred, demonstrated experience is a must

Desired Skills:

Web or database application development experience (eg .NET, Visual Basic, PHP, ColdFusion)
Microsoft Project experience
Experience using SQL Reporting Services and Report Builder (Crystal Reports experience also an asset)
Experience using SQL Server Analysis Services and OLAP tools
Datawarehouse design/modelling experience
Experience working with Server level systems (Server 2003 or 2008) an asset
Any ERP (SAP, Oracle) package experience an asset
